To indicate that the exposure meter is ready,
one or two of the LED's in the shut-
ter/aperture balance light. With very poor
light, on the threshold region of the expo-
sure meter's range, it may take between 2
and 3 seconds for the metering system to
stabilize before giving an accurate reading.

the shutter-speed setting ring

. The spring-
loaded setting ring engages at all setting
values marked. Do not attempt to set it to an
intermediate value. At B, the shutter
remains open as long as you hold the shutter
release button down. Exposure metering is
not possible in this setting. When using non-
synchronized* electronic flash units, "X" =
1

s is set.
Note:
After releasing the shutter of the
LEICA R6.2 at a shutter speed of 1/250 s, a
faint slow-speed mechanical sound is
audible.
