This mode delivers pictures with a frame around the image.
∫ Setting the frame
Select from 3 types of frames.
Notes
•
The resolution is fixed to 2M (4:3).
• The color of the frame displayed on the screen and that around the actual image may differ, but
this is not a malfunction.
This mode will record 220 frames/second as a motion picture, recording very fast
movement that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
1 Press the motion picture button to start the recording.

Release the motion picture button right after you press it.
2 Press the motion picture button again to stop the recording.
Notes
•
Pictures created with this mode cannot be recorded into the internal memory.
• Motion pictures will be recorded in the Motion JPEG format. Use “QuickTime” or the software
available as download after registering your camera on the Leica Camera AG homepage (see
separate leaflet) to play back motion pictures on a computer.
• Audio is not recorded.
• Motion pictures can be recorded continuously for up to 2GB.
• The focus, zoom, exposure and White Balance settings are fixed to the values at the beginning
of the motion picture recording.
• Under fluorescent lighting, flicker or horizontal bars may be seen.
